What do you have for breakfast on a chilly morning? Some hot scones, of course! The other day, I shared a recipe for hot drop scones. Did you try it?

Today, I have another recipe for savoury drop scones! This recipe only requires thirty minutes to prepare. Pretty simple stuff, if you ask me. Will serve six persons. Enjoy!

Ingredients A:
150gm self raising flour
25gm cereal
2 teaspoon chicken stock granules

Ingredients B:
100gm minced chicken meat
25gm carrot, shredded
25gm chives, cut into 1cm length
25gm button mushroom sliced
1 small onion, sliced
4 tablespoon cream style sweet corn

1 cup low fat milk
chilli sauce

Preparation:
1. In a bowl, mix Ingredients A well.
2. Add in Ingredients B and gradually stir in milk. Mix until mixture becomes a thick batter.
3. Heat a non-stick frying pan and spoon one tablespoon batter into the pan.
4. Cook over low het until bubbles begin to burst on the surface.
5. Turn over and cook the other side.
6. Serve warm with chilli sauce is desired.

Tip:
To save time, prepare the batter the night before and keep in the fridge.
